Thrown away as food remnant or useless by-product of food like over matured vegetable leaves and branches), rotten fruit, garbage  Pour away: like washing water from dismantled food equipment or water used for fermentation of starch Decomposed food stuff by the action of innate enzymes and micro organisms

  Food is any liquid or solid agricultural product [ raw, processed etc ] of being consumed by living organisms, to sustain or nourish life. Raw food: in natural state or unprocessed e.g fruits, grains, vegetables  Processed food: modified through industrial processes or food processing machine in kitchen, either to fortified and stored as canned food, bottled drink etc    FUNCTION OF NUTRIENT Nutrient helps to keep our body healthy Nutrient also help our body to generate energy Furthermore, to help build and repair body tissues For secretion of fluid in the body To fight infection (nutritional diseases) For other metabolic activities
